Coaching FAQ’s

I have a counselor, how can you help?

There are many times that a counselor and coach can work together to move a client forward. Where a counselor focuses on how you arrived at the place where you are, a coach helps you through the process, as well as moving forward. A coach will assist you in gaining clarity on next steps, future desires and holding you accountable along the way to ensure you reach your fullest potential. My approach combines connecting some doubts of how you arrived where you are, healing hurts and moving forward with confidence in who you are.

I have a lot of people I talk to already, what do you do differently?

Friends, family and co-workers mean well. They care about you and want to see you happy. Unfortunately, they are not trained to be neutral. Your suffering can trigger their own insecurities, fears, past hurts and resentments. Without the proper training to listen to you without bringing in their own experiences, they will provide support and encouragement in the ways that may not be aligned with your desires. A coach is trained to be neutral, to listen with a close ear and hold a safe space to finish your thoughts and create a plan that really serves you being your best self.

What is a divorce Wellness Coach?

A wellness coach is focused on a holistic approach to your well being. It means looking at all aspects of life - health, nutrition, sleep, stress, physical exercise, diet, emotions, spirituality, career, financial, relationships and more. Helping to create balance in all areas of life to enjoy more peace, joy and passion. Combine all of that training with divorce coaching and you create a path that keeps you healthy throughout the grieving process so you can be further along and ready for your next chapter stronger and better prepared.
